Along with multiple capital investment, this new development will enable advance technologies and organize enterprises to evolve in multiple economic sectors, such as fishery, agriculture, manufacture, tourism, mining, oil and gas industries in the Sulu and Tawi-Tawi special economic zone to create a well-balanced environment in national levels.

Infrastructures and facilities are required for the development of the Sulu and Tawi-Tawi such as ports, airport, bridges, telecommunication system, water supply system, power plants and healthcare systems will be expanded in this special economic zone.
